Studio Policies
We believe a great experience starts with respect—for your time, our artists, and the environment we’ve created. These policies are in place to ensure every appointment runs smoothly and every client receives the attention they deserve.
Appointments & Booking
We are an appointment-only studio.
A valid credit card is required to reserve all bookings.
Some services may require a consultation prior to scheduling to ensure we have adequate time to achieve your desired result.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes.
Appointments canceled within 48 hours will incur a 50% service fee.
Appointments canceled same-day will incur a 100% service fee.
This allows us to protect our artists’ time and accommodate other clients when possible.
Late Arrivals
We run on a tight schedule to respect every client’s appointment time.
If you arrive late, we may not be able to complete your service as planned.
In some cases, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and treated as a late cancellation.
If you’re running behind, please reach out—we’ll always do our best, but we can’t guarantee adjustments.
No-Shows
Missed appointments without notice will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
Studio Environment
We’ve intentionally created a space that is calm, clean, and focused.
Due to safety concerns—including professional equipment, chemicals, and fragile items—we are unable to accommodate children in the studio.
The only exception is infants or toddlers who remain in a stroller or carrier and are supervised at all times.
Why this matters?
These policies aren’t about being strict—they’re about protecting the experience.
They allow our artists to stay fully present, our schedule to run smoothly, and every client to enjoy the level of service Obsidian is known for.
