MEET THE TEAM
Stephanie has been doing nails since 2008. She went to cosmetology school while in high school, and has taken several certification courses in multiple prestige nail brands. Stephanie loves challenging intricate nail art including portraits and anything spooky. Besides all things nails, Stephanie love hanging at home with her daughter and husband, drawing, mint Oreos, Coke Zero, crystals, footie pajamas, and Pumpkin scented anything from Bath + Body Works.
Analise is newer to the Pittsburgh area; she lived in Texas most of her life and moved here in 2014. After attending college for two years, Analise decided to take an artistic approach and graduated from Bella Capelli cosmetology school in 2019. It was there that she discovered her love for abstract nail art, layering, glitter, and bright colors. When she isn’t in the studio, Analise enjoys spending time with her five dogs and shopping around for succulents and cacti.
Lizzy graduated from the vo-tech program at Steel Center in cosmetology in 2017. From there she worked at a children’s salon where she did haircuts, manicures, pedicures, birthday parties, and assisted at a hair salon for two years before realizing nails were her passion. You can almost always expect Lizzy to add a little sparkle to your nails with glitter and chrome and loves when you come with inspiration so she can put her own twist on it. When she’s not glitzing your nails, Lizzy is most likely at the barn with her horse Dakota with a coffee in hand.
Laura started her beauty career in early 2020 after deciding nails were her passion from being a client of Stephanie’s for years. She practiced on herself while attending South Hills Beauty Academy, and fell in love with sculpting long stiletto nails mimicking the hundreds of crystals and stones she has collected over the years. When Laura isn’t trying to talk you into bright, long, pointy nails at Obsidian, you can catch her either at the tattoo studio adding more body art to herself or taking her daughter Skye on an adventure!
Little Nik started doing nails out of curiosity in 2017 when her colleagues encouraged her to combine her experience in the beauty industry with her lifelong passion for creative arts. Painting comes naturally, but learning and understand nail products enough to share the knowledge with others is what drove her to become a brand educator for MagpieBeauty USA, a small business owned and operated entirely by women. Her side hustle is painting animal portraits and each gets a kiss from her pitbull, Bronson. She and her husband love spending time outdoors and getting dirty at their family’s second home in the country.
